By far the cheapest method to get a robot voice:

use a delay with an extreme short delay time and lots of feedback.

By the way: a talkbox is not a vocoder. It's a speaker in a closed box. Out of the box comes a rubber tube, where the sound is coming from.

Stick the tube in your mouth, use your mouth as a filter and use a microphone to record it.

Heil - what's in a name :freak:

:keys: My Music:thx: I always wondered what happened after the fade out?

Great idea! But is there anything I can assemble from Radioshack parts?

I also need an external pitch-bender/modulation joystick. Any ideas, people?

 Don't forget to post!!

If you need a talkbox: Danelectro has just announced some new cool stuff (talk-box, Spring reverb, Tape-echo simulator).
