schmoron13 Posted August 20, 2002 Posted August 20, 2002 I got a triton rack this weekend and absolutely love the sounds/patches, but don't need the sequencer as I have a DAW (PC) Does anyone know if Korg sells a module with just the patches and patch builders? I heard Karma doesn't have that extra stuff in a triton, but I want just a rack not a keyboard (already have my controller). Also, I noticed those triton sample cd's floating around: 1) are they legit? 2) are they samples or can I import them to another sampler (hardware of software) and use them as patches? 3) if they are patches, can I still have the different velocity layers?
aliengroover Posted August 20, 2002 Posted August 20, 2002 The Triton Rack doesn't have a sequencer, per se. What it does do is function as a "player", playing SMFs and Triton sequences. I believe the only recording it does is the RRPR (never used it) and, of course, sampling. The Triton rack is your way to go, for what you want. As far as the CDs...they ain't legit. That's all I know about them. Peace If at first you don't succeed, keep on sucking 'til you do suck seed!
