Hi again,

Im thinking of getting a Voce spin II

ANYONE HAVE ONE ...IF SO HOW ARE THEY?

Im thinking of adding one to my rig.

currently I use a Motion Sound KBRM,BUT ID LIKE TO ADD THE SPIN II TO FATTEN UP THE LESLIE EFFECT ...SORT OF LIKE HAVING 2 147'S.

Appreiciate any advice you can give on this.

I've tried pumping an electronic Leslie effect through a physical rotor, and the results were swirly, phasey, definitely animated. But it's nothing like having two Leslies, or Motion Sound amps with rotors, next to each other, even if you're running the two at different speeds. Not the way to go for authenticity.

 

I had an original Spin which I liked a lot. Sold it when I bought my first west-coast Leslie some years ago.

 

Paulie, I notced you did a post about keyboard amps too. To get you started, the forum's search engine could find you lots of posts on "Leslie Simulators" and "Keyboard Amps" Welcome, and try it out. :)
