Rob Clark Posted August 18, 2002 Posted August 18, 2002 Hi there Feel kind of foolish in asking but in South Africa (especially where I live, Kruger National Park) good advice is hard to come by. Looking at adding a second keyboard to our Church Sound Setup. We have aquired a Technics KN-750 (second hand) at a good price. Want to add either a Yamaha PSR-1000 (expensive in SA because of exchange rates, also to me more of a "general purpose keyboard like the Technics" as opposed to more "pure synth") or a Korg N5EX (my preference, and I can get NEW at a good price for SA). OK, it's not a Triton or PA-60 but .. Have seen some good comments on the net (regarding the N5EX) any advice? I know its not the "latest and greatest" but we are looking for good piano and string, possibly winds sounds and most importantly BUILD QUALITY and RELIABILITY. Thanks for the airtime - Rob Hillsongs Music Australia Partner
Pim Posted August 19, 2002 Posted August 19, 2002 Try to get a listen to a Alesis QS6 with the Sanctuary expansion card. This is simply the best duo for in a church with a small budget. My Music I always wondered what happened after the fade out?
Rob Clark Posted August 19, 2002 Author Posted August 19, 2002 Thanks for that Pim, I know I can get Alesis here, will make some calls - regards - Rob Hillsongs Music Australia Partner
