rdawg Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 I'm thinking of getting a digital mixer to track my keyboards into Digital Performer. Has anyone used the Behringer 3216 ? How are the effects? How about the S90.....sounds like a nice keyboard with the Motif sounds.Has anyone Played it?
synthetic Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 Call me crazy, but... Why digital? Analog sounds better, has more features for the dollar, and sounds better. Unless you need the automation and recall, which you might not for workstation and synth playback, consider a nice analog board like a Mackie 1604VLZ and then add Lexicon effects or something.
tenthplanet Posted August 2, 2002 Posted August 2, 2002 Analog better than digital?! Who says pro-sound isn't like high end home audio. Analog and digital have their advantages and disadvantages. If you're doing a lot of overdubbing digital may serve you better, on the other hand analog can sound warmer (can; not will....) there are a lot of variables. It all depends on what you're looking for. And of course what ever you do you must use tube amplification.. (YES, I,m kidding about that).
