Dan O Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 Hello to all , I have returned from summer NAMM . Hammond will be releasing the B3 again . I was told it was EXACTLY like the 1950's model . It looks like it and in my opinion sounded great . My booth was right next to hammond . Yamaha was promoting a new high end arranger workstation called the TYRO's . If you like the capabilities of an arranger keyboard , the TYRO's was very cool . Yammy also released the S90 as dB had posted on another thread . General Music showed it's new flag ship workstation called the GENESYS . The high end arranger keyboard comes with a CD burner on board and no internal ROM . GEM's idea is to allow the end user to customize the keyboard with future releases . All sounds and styles ( loops that respond to chord changes in real time) are on the CD . You can even remove vocals from an audio CD and sing along with your favorite tunes . GEM also showed the PRO MEGA 3 . dB posted some of his impressions . There is more to come .......stay tuned .......dano www.esnips.com/web/SongsfromDanO
Botch. Posted July 22, 2002 Posted July 22, 2002 A real Hammond, WOW! Did they state a suggested price? Thanks for the info! Botch "Eccentric language often is symptomatic of peculiar thinking" - George Will www.puddlestone.net
