steadyb Posted July 15, 2002 Posted July 15, 2002 Attention Keyboard Corner Regulars - Free Opcode Studio 4 and midi expressXT Hey Guys (and Val and Laurie Z.), I have an Opcode Studio 4 that works but needs a power supply (9VDC 1.5A center pin + ). I also have a MOTU Midi Express XT (internal power supply) that just needs a power cable. The MOTU piece is cross platform and the Studio 4 is Mac only with the old style modem/printer ports (BOTH UNITS NOT USB). Anyway, I haven't needed either one in years and would be more than happy to give them to anyone here who's interested. Free of course. Keyboard Corner regulars get first dibs, but if there are no takers, they're offered to anyone. Also, I think I may have the serial cable for Mac, but I'm not so sure about the parralel cable for the XT with a PC. Both shouldn't be to tough to find either way.
Krakit Posted July 15, 2002 Posted July 15, 2002 I'd like them, if no one has beaten me to your offer yet.
steadyb Posted July 15, 2002 Author Posted July 15, 2002 Originally posted by Krakit: I'd like them, if no one has beaten me to your offer yet.Hey Krakit, Which one??? (or both???) Since there's two pieces, I'd like to share the wealth, so to speak...but you're the first response so you certainly get first choice at least. Oh, by the way, I forget... were you cheering for or against the Lakers this year???
Krakit Posted July 15, 2002 Posted July 15, 2002 I'll get the most use out of the MOTU Midi Express XT (if I have to choose just one ) Does it hurt me if I admit that I don't follow B-ball?

(But I'd charge Dan or Mecca $1500 ) I'll give it through the end of today and if none of the other regulars respond you can have both. Please send me a private message with your shipping address. Thanks.
Krakit Posted July 15, 2002 Posted July 15, 2002 Information sent. Let me take this opportunity to thank you for your generosity. I will try to follow your example when the chance arrives.

steadyb Posted July 16, 2002 Author Posted July 16, 2002 Originally posted by Krakit: Please allow me to compensate you for any shipping charges.Nah. Thanks for the offer, but it wasn't that much. Enjoy.
Krakit Posted July 25, 2002 Posted July 25, 2002 Both units arrived in fine condition last Monday. I've just incorporated the MOTU into my rig. The opcode is going to have to wait until I get my Mac back online. Thanks very much for your generosity, Steadyb!

Dan South Posted July 25, 2002 Posted July 25, 2002 I'll give you fifteen hundred to admit that the Lakers cheated. The Black Knight always triumphs!
Intheether Posted July 25, 2002 Posted July 25, 2002 Hey Nelz, I'll try and get that DR-550 out tomorrow. I had some stuff come up last week. (church lady voice) hmmmm.... could it be NAMM? It seems patently obvious that shipping a drum machine, free of charge, should be your highest priority Seriously though, whenever you get around to it, no big deal whatsoever! ~nel *
