Kurzweil K1000se upgrade

I have a Kurzweil K1000SE. I'd like to know if a new KXA-SE Expansion Sound Block kit, which a private seller is offering on the internet, would include the Version 5 system software and any other essentials for making the upgrade. My local Kurzweil store (Music Center, Kenosha, WI) couldn't come up with an answer, and the seller sees no mention of the software in the kit (hence, the question of whether it would be contained in the chips).

 

If anyone has a long memory on these or a place to refer me to, I'd appreciate it. I don't want to invest over a hundred bucks a 5 chips for no return.
