kkrogedal Posted July 2, 2002 Posted July 2, 2002 Hi all I've got a Yamaha A4000. On some of the factory programs, especially drum- and Rhodes-programs, the velocity-cross-switching seems to be acting weired. An example: A bassdrum has 4 velocity-switches. I hit a key with velocity 87, the last value for a sample-layer, and everything is fine. I then turn the velocity to 88 in my sequencer, being the lowest velocity-value for the next sample-layer. This turns the volume down to barely recognisable, as if it was velocity 1. This means that every now and then a few notes will drop out when I'm playing. Rather annoying, and I turn to you, musicians of the world. Hope that some of you care to give me some thoughts. Thanks. kk
