I received dB's Cd ULTR MAROON a few days ago . I finally listened to everything .

The Cd is a great production and the best $12.00 I've spent in a long time .

dB's vocals range remimds me of Peter Gabriel,Phil Collins, David Lee Roth all in one person ! all in all excellent stuff !

Woogman in the Jungle blew me away !

Smokers blues + Evil Genius + Ciao Cacao are other fav's !

PLUS it's nice to hear something other than the radio these days ! internet radio excluded .

Buy it , it's worth it !

A) Thank you, dano - you are way too kind.

B) That ain't me singing (except the occasional background vocal. I am not exactly what you'd call a skilled vocalist.

C) $12? It's only supposed to be $10...

Once again, thanks for the positive feedback

I don't think I've yet mentioned how much I dig this CD. Dave, it was all done in your home studio, right?

Yeah, it would be perfect except for that damn trombone. What happened there? Is that a bad sample or something?
I think he used the "Slide Trombone" from the Classical" Q-card.

Are the other samples on the Q-cards out of tune?

Rabid...just so no one gets the wrong idea...this was a joke. It's no sample...it's really the incredible talents of our resident 'bone expert, Ms. Valky. And it sounds just fine. So do the QCards, for the most part.

I sort of picked up on that Jeff. If the playing was anythng less than exceptional I would be afraid to throw that comment out. But I considered it a safe "slam" considering the quality of playing.

Valky

Sorry Valky. Just a joke. I thought this was the Trombone thread. By the way, what did Dave have to do to get you to play for him?
