Gregg Seibert
Anyone noticed that the Nu rock acts use a DJ to trigger samples of the Keys parts, or play simple little lines on the drum pads? Not to dis the DJ's, just noticing a trend. Gregg Without music, life would be a mistake - Nietzche QSC K10, Kurz PC3, K2500x, K2000R, Korg Z1, Roland A80, Roland S-750, 1970 MiniMoog, Synthi AKS, bunch of old rack modules. Felix_dup1
Actually, I've kinda thought that Nu-Rock acts had done a halfway decent job of employing keyboardists, albeit in addition to DJ's. If you take bands like Linkin Park, Slipknot, Kid Rock, etc, they've got a DJ and they've also got someone who's playing keyboards (or at least credited with programming/sampling). It is interesting to note how "cool" DJ's have become in live performance, though, taking their place in Rock concerts as well as Hip Hop and Electronic concerts.
