lrossmusic
I just finished watching Dick Clark's TV special celebrating the 50th anniversary of American Bandstand. I enjoyed the show for the most part. At the end Clark individually introduced an all star band featuring Little Richard to close things out which included Jerry Springer as one of the guitarists. Does anyone have any idea what that was all about? What does Jerry Springer have to do with the legacy of American Bandstand, the history of Rock & Roll, or a band of influential musicians specifically chosen for their contributions and achievements in the field of popular music? Obviously a good portion of the audience felt the same as Springer got a healthy BOO! when he was introduced. Maybe Springer was one of the shows sponsors? Whatever the case I'm suprised that Dick Clark made such a decision.

RABid
I bailed out when Sher came on and started lip syncing. Turned back later during the disco show. Hung around a bit, and decided on basketball. That was never one of my favorite shows. It was too hard to find a time when acts actually played and sang. Robert This post edited for speling.
