Hey Guys, Does anyone have this mod. Can you recommend the EP sounds or not ? What about the patch RD Rhodes ?

Recommend them for what? I mean, what are you looking for in EP sounds? If you're looking for a realistic Rhodes or Wurly emulation, the P55 isn't that. But there's one EP sound I like in it, which is unlike any other EP I have, and I like to use it sometimes. Whether or not it sounds like an RD rhodes, I can't say, as I can't remember what the ep's sounded like on the old RD's.

Well, I'm looking for the Warm Rhodes sound. Something I can play a ballad with. Someething with plenty of sustain and pressence, but not Tinkly sounding.

 

I have a P80 piano right now and the EP's are not that good.

 

I've been looking at the Yamaha P50-m Mod, the Roland MKS-20 Mod, and Kurz Micropiano and the Roland P-55 Mod. I Just need to add that one nice sound to my collection but don't have much to spend.
