It would be interesting to create a song on a 3000, dump the samples and .mid info to a 2000 or 4000, sync them together and see if they "feel" the same... That's my big worry and why I've kept my 3000. Note that you can install 32 megs in a 3000 as well as a zip drive where the floppy is.
