I think it's because the URL contains the little wave symbol - an undulated line - which I don't have on my PC keyboard. What to do? There's also a caching issue on the server and your browser. Best thing to do is to log out after updating your profile, quit the browser, and log back in and check the thread (or any thread you've posted in)...
