Is it just me, or is pHATmatik PRO incredible?

This is a VST thingie that is sort of like ReCycle in plug-in form. I think it's pretty amazing, I like the fact that you can pitch-shift and envelope each slice individually, as well as send slices to individual outputs. Does anyone else out there use this? Wow, forgot I had that one. It's been laying on my HD for a month. Thanks CA for reminding me. It's great!

This is the only program that I am comfortable with using loops. By the time I mangle the loop I can feel like it is at least partially my own work. My favorite use for PhatPro is to drag and drop sections into Battery to build kits that are not based on drum sounds. I keep hoping Acid or SoundForge updates will offer the same type of editing for Acid loops. No luck so far. I've played with the demo for months. I really need to buy this program. Robert

Rabid you should. I never used a loop till I checked out the phatpro demo. You can do so much mangling, and of course, making your own custom kits is really cool. If RM III does not support drag and drop soon, I will buy Dr-008, just for the ability to drag slices from PhatPro to Dr-008. prog

You can drag and drop pieces of acidized loops into other loops and so on. It doesn't do the same kind of slicing stuff that pHATmatik PRO does, but it's a very useful VST. You should hassle Cakewalk about releasing it as a stand-alone plug-in.
