Suggestions for boxes to do that reliably live? Also, suggestions on reliable sequencers to use in conjunction w/the above master clock, or perhaps hw sequencers that have this function built in? sevush Posted April 1, 2002 Author Share Posted April 1, 2002 Yes. The drummer uses a Roland V-drum and I'd like his kick to trigger/control the master clock. I have sequence playback in my Yamaha S80/30 from the RAM card, not sure if it will take an external MIDI clock or not. The doc says it will transmit. cg1155 Posted April 3, 2002 Share Posted April 3, 2002 I'm not sure how much success you will have with this even if you can find a device to do it, because it would almost certainly require a solid 4/4 kick which will get pretty boring.
