surfjunkie
i've got a roland kd-7 kick trigger that i had been using with an alesis dm-pro and a cheapo yamaha dd-50 pad thing. the alesis busted about a year ago, and i can't get parts for it. the pedal is still sitting here unused, and the other day i ran across the dd-50 in my basement. the dd-50 is MIDI, and it has a footswitch input for kick. i know my trigger won't work, but why? is there a workaround? i realize velocity-sensitivity is impossible, but i'd still like to use this stuff. thanks. Krakit
I think that the DD-50 uses regular cheapo sustain pedals. Your pedal is designed for MIDI (yes?). Carl
