amp.e.g Posted March 1, 2002 Share Posted March 1, 2002 Help! I have several modules in my rack (Roland,Korg,alesis.oberheim etc,). Just got the Q7.1 and wish to use it as a shared master w/Xp-30. Dave Bryce Posted March 1, 2002 Share Posted March 1, 2002 Try sending CC #0, with a value of 0 for the user bank, 1-3 for the presets, 4 for the GM bank and 5 and up for the card slots (varies depending on what type of card is in each slot). The QS is said to only be able to select the bottom byte of the bank number whereas some modules require the top byte to contain the bank number. Or maybe its the other way round. Check the implementation charts. I don't rely on bank switching myself - its simpler to line everything up that you use live in a single bank.
