CP
I've just returned to One Liberty Plaza. If you don't know where that is, it is across the street from Ground Zero. We had to leave, because it was rumored that the building might collapse. I stood there in horror and watched the towers burn, and people fall out or jump out the windows. Just wanted to let y'all know that playing the piano and this forum was and is therapy for me. The events of 9/11 have put a lot of things in perspective for me. Just wanted to let everybody know that y'all been a real help, eventhough you might not have known it.
Dan South
CP, Welcome home! It's a good feeling, isn't it? After three+ months in limbo, I moved into an office on Wall St. a couple of weeks ago. It's nice to have a DESK and a PHONE and other "luxuries." We should do lunch sometime... The Black Knight always triumphs!
soapbox
CP, it was horrifying enough for me to watch what happened live on TV. I can only imagine what it must have been like for you to be there! It's a great community we have here. I too feel that others here have helped me. If there's anything specific I can do, just ask. Take care, Geoff Enthusiasm powers the world. jimbyjoe
CP, good to see things are good dude. i think 9/11 was the day the whole world changed. hopefully we are all starting to get on our feet again. dan south do you work in NY too? i thought you did music F/T? have any of you guys seen those fundraiser t-shirts from "Ground Zero Food Services"? my brother in law just brought one back from NYC. on the back it says "Rebuilding New York, one meal at a time". i would so much want one, that is so heroic - any one involved in that sort of stuff. God bless them all. pray for peace, kendall "Consider how much coffee you're drinking - it's probably not enough."
Blue
I'm glad that things are starting to settle down for you, even if slowly. I am at the other side of the ocean, in Europe, but the thousand miles in between did not lessen an inch the horror from the tv images. As Kendall says, we'll pray. = blue =
