ivorytickler6000
I am a beginning piano student (1 year) and have recently purchased a Roland RD-100 stage piano as my home practice instrument. The RD-100 does not have an amplifier aboard (headphones only). I am looking for some advice as to what keyboard amplifier would be a good purchase. I don't intend to perform - just a hobby - however, I want a good unit that will not restrict me as I improve and will offer excellent sound quality to rival the piano. Also, is any other equipment useful to produce quality sound?
Dan O
You may want to consider a pair of powered monitors for in home use . There are many manufacturers available . Yamaha Roland , Event ,JBL are just a few . Audix PH5V's around $200.00 a pair(50 watts a side) I think Yamaha has new monitors PH3'S or Msp3's Make sure the speakers can hold the bottom end sound of your RD100 . good luck , dano www.esnips.com/web/SongsfromDanO
