Allan Speers
I'm thinking of getting an MP9000, just for the action, to use as a master-controller in my studio. I know that the action feels great (maybe a bit light, but still close to a real piano) when you play it w/ its internal sounds. My question is: How does the action translate to external samplers/ modules? Is the midi response fast enough as to be transparent? Does the velocity-response translate well, giving a confident feeling of control? Also: Does the action/ response hold up over time, or do the most-played keys begin to change their response, like so many other keyboards? Hope someone has an opinion on this. Allan Speers
bumpety bumpety bump. Just found out that there's a new version of the MP coming out. I think it's called the MP9500. Supposedly the only change will be "improved midi function" but cannot get clarification. Does anyone know what will be changed? When it may hit the stores? Any answers to my original questions? Anyone out there?
