Who Here Has ADAM Monitors and What Do YOU Think of Them?

I just ordered a pair from Dave and am interested in people that have or have mixed with these. What do you think of them and their Heil Ribbon Transducer? Has anyone A/B'd them against Meyer and other high-end monitors to have an opinion on how they compare?

Thanks,

Roland

I don't have them....YET! David demoed them for me earlier in the year and I've never heard such clarity and response from any monitor before. He played me some of favorite CDs that I thought I knew well...and I was hearing things that I had never heard before. The imaging was unbelievable. You won't be dissapointed.

I don't know much about their studio monitors, but I've been lusting after a pair of their loudspeakers for a while. I don't think they're distributed in the States yet, but if half the owner reviews are true, I'd love to get my hands on them for the fronts in my home theatre.
Setup: Korg Kronos 61, Roland XV-88, Korg Triton-Rack, Motif-Rack, Korg N1r, Alesis QSR, Roland M-GS64 Yamaha KX-88, KX76, Roland Super-JX, E-Mu Longboard 61, Kawai K1II, Kawai K4.

Our own Dave Bryce distributes them here in the States. www.mccave.com is his company's website. Check them out. :)

The ADAMs have been discussed pretty extensively in some of the other forums, and a bit on this one.

Here\'s one thread from Dave Frangioni's forum...there's other ones floating about.

Hope that helps.

Doesn't Dave offer an examination period in which to make a decision? You can't go wrong with that.

I own a pair of unpowered S4columns and love them.

(Just noticing the ADAM banner ad at the top of this

site!)

Give me the ANALOG and no one gets HURT

Yes, he does and that's what I'm doing. Already did it and am very excited about it, and based on everything I've seen there's no way he'll every pry them back out of me once I get to listen to them!!

Thanks for that thread link Dave, I got all the comments I needed there. :)

thanx...

Which ones are you interested in? We just got our first (small) P-11A shipment in last week...I can put in an order for any of them at any time, even if they're not up on our web site.
