cg1155
I believe it is a farifsa (sp?) or vox organ sound. -Casey
Cowfingers
thanks.i'm using and OB3squared organ. 88800880 (no c, v or percussion) is what i use to emulate the vox continantal sound when playing The Doors, but that sounds wrong when trying to play the monkees. as for the name starfucker-its a Nine Inch Nails song from 'The Fragile' album thanks -starfucker Visit my band : www.neonfleacircus.net or www.myspace.com/neonfleacircus
Tedster
I'm quite sure it was a Farfisa. Farfisas owned the sixties...well, with some help from Vox. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"

Their first album or two were sort of heavy rock, but I'd have a tough time using the word "rock" to describe their later stuff (more like dark experimental electronics). Fortunately, one of their albums came out in the USA on the Drunken Fish label.
