Hi I'am new to keyboard playing. I have a chance to buy a Kawai Z1000 keyboard. Does anyone have some information on this keyboard. Thanks in Advance.

I don't know this particular model. I looked it up on the net and apparently it was introduced in 1988 so its very old now. The only reason to buy such an old instrument as a student instrument is that you can get it real cheap and it is all you can afford. For around the $800 mark you should be able to get a much more modern (in fact new) instrument with a fully weighted action.

 

Assuming you are learning piano specifically, consider getting a real piano. There is yet to be built an electric that sounds as good as even a modest real piano - assuming it is tuned voiced and regulated adequately. If you have the space and don't need the portability, a real piano should be a consideration.
