I think Kat(spelling) makes a midi controller that simulates vibes, or is it Roland? My son is a drummer turned keyboardist, and I'm thinking that a combination of sticks and midi controllers is the trick. Your response is greatly appreciated. Mahalo from Hawaii... There was also a thing called a Buchla Thunder (review here;http://www.buchla.com/historical/thunder/em-review/ or http://www.buchla.com/historical/thunder/ that was pretty dang cool. Here are the KAT things via this link;http://www.alternatemode.com/katstore.shtml Roland make s really cool thing called a hand-sonic that is like a multi-zone conga drum.
