soapbox
It's tough to see tragedy strike New York (and America) just two months and a day after September 11th. My heart goes out to the victims and those who love them. Enthusiasm powers the world. Craig Anderton's Archiving Article
Magpel
Yeah, I was freaking most of the morning yesterday because I have a close friend who lives is Far Rockaway and works at home while she minds her 2 year old son. Fortunately, she and her loved ones are safe. The plane crashed about 1 mile from her house. But, man, that neighborhood of Queens lost tons of people in the WTC attack. This is like salt on the wound, injury to insult or whatever. I don't know how much one city can take. soapbox
John, I'm glad your friend is okay (well, alive at least). I saw on the news that the widow of one of the firefighters that died in the WTC attack, lost her father who was on the plane that went down in Rockaway! How tough is that?!?
