Blues Disciple
I just bought the "Incredible" cd by Joey DeFrancesco (with Jimmy Smith). The title is accurate as it truly is incredible. Joey D. gets sounds that I've never heard anyone get out of a Hammond before. Example: How does he get that wild sound for the lead lines on "when you smilin?" I can't figure out what he's doing. (Also bought Kansas' "Song for America". A nice piece of music. The title track is pure artistry.)
