buzzlord
Hi akai mpc users, I'm thinking of buying an akai mpc2000xl to go with my waldorf q and i was wondering if you can trigger samples to be processed by the q's effects and sample them back into the akai at the same time, basically to save me having to DAT them, then resample them. Thanks.
surfjunkie
you can't on a 2000, i'd assume the xl is similar. when you're in the "sampling" section of the thing, no sounds are available. you could record into your computer and pretty easily make an mpc cd or zip, though. other than that, the mpc would rock with your waldorf. buzzlord
Thanks wager47 for the info, much appreciated, i thought that was the case but i was just hoping you could so i could get away from the computer to write stuff, that damn computer noise is one hell of a distraction if you ask me. Thanks. Took a read-thru the manal last night. I don't think you can do that. You might want to sample them into your PC (assuming you have one) clean it up and resample back into the MPC...
