My first keyboard gig came waaay before I ever learned how to play keys...

I was a 16yo drummer who went to see a friend's band. Their keyboardist got sick right in the middle of the gig, and somehow I wound up on stage in front of 300 people banging an A chord to Zep's "Rock & Roll". Some Chuck Berry & other early stuff followed. That show was recorded - somehow I didn't play nearly as bad as I had thought LOL

I used to think I was Libertarian. Until I saw their platform; now I know I'm no more Libertarian than I am RepubliCrat or neoCON or Liberal or Socialist.

This ain't no track meet; this is football.

I'd never seen that model before, or since. Had drawbars for the upper manual, didn't sound too bad through a Leslie. Anybody?

I can picture that thing (my piano teacher had one), but I can't remember the name. If I remember correctly it also had an electric piano sound that you could play on the bottom manual. The "Sustain pedal" was actually a piece of metal on the swell pedal that you kicked in by swiveling your foot to the right. Odd way to do it, but it was efficient.
