Yamaha GX1 Info!

The GX1 has long been considered by many (including myself) to be the Holy Grail of synthesizers. There's precious little information about the puppy, and shy of downloading the free manual from Yamaha - which is rather rudimentary - there's no technical data available for it.

I was surfing the web last night after watching the video of ELP's Montreal '77 concert with the full orchestra, and decided to do a Google search on the GX. I was surprised to find these 2 articles from Sound on Sound mag, and thought I'd share them with you. They really delve into the nuts and bolts of the layout, and of programming the monster, and also one man's odessey about getting a GX1 from Australia to Britain. Enjoy.
