Philip OKeefe
I just tried to change my name back to "Phil O'Keefe" and the system wouldn't let me - it says someone else has already reserved that name... no d'uh - yeah, it's ME! So I tried "Philip O'Keefe" instead and changed my avatar back, and it accepted that - but it's still displaying "Paddy O'Lantern" and that stupid flashing jack o'lantern... I do NOT want to be Paddy O'Lantern forever... anyone have any suggestions?
Philip OKeefe
Whew... that's better... I guess it just takes awhile to implement. :)

soapbox
Maybe we should all go by more formal names. I could be Soaperman Boxerson. ;) Enthusiasm powers the world. Craig Anderton's Archiving Article
Alndln
When I did that at AudioForums it changed my status back to a newbie with 1 post, after posting over a thousand. It happened 3 times there(site crash/reregister)so I'm wary of even trying it here. AudioMaverick
Welcome back, y'all! Some of those avatars were geting a bit large... "It's all about the... um-m-m, uh-h-h..."
offramp
I'd like to second the motion that some were getting too large, and like to request some restraint. For those of us still on a 56k modem, it's pretty awkward to try to navigate this site with the damn screen going blue and redrawing everytime you want to click on a link. I've upped my standards; now, up yours.
