Yikes
OK, we'll get to keyboards, but I gotta say: John Lennon's "Imagine" was used towards the end of the movie "The Killing Fields". As the 2 journalists reunited, it underscored a yearning for a utopia where there is no possessions, no religion, etc. to get in the way. It was the most (unintentionally) ironic choice, because these characteristics were tenants of Pol Pot's "Year Zero" that destroyed Cambodia... after that movie, "Imagine" always reminded me not of utpoia, but of man's "lostness" (despite best intentions) without God. Back to music: the credits at the very end of the movie had a sequenced version of Tarrega's Recuerdos de la Alhambra, which you normally hear on classical guitar in 3/4 time. They did it on keyboard in 4/4 time... very different, and it's stuck in my memory after all these years. Nord Stage 88, Roland XP80, Barbetta Amps, and a bunch of stuff gathering dust in the corner.
