GY
I use a Marantz 620 stand alone writer. When I burn CDs from my 3700 DAT machine, the Marantz recognizes the start IDs I've placed on the DAT master just fine, and starts recording. Very tight. How are you placing start IDs when using an editing program like Cool Edit or whatever? When I start the CD burner and hit play with Cool Edit, there's always a little click when the audio starts. I could transfer the computer track back to DAT and do the indexing, but is there a better way? Any ideas? Anderton
Once I've finished making the various WAVs, I bring them into Sonic Foundry's late, great CD Architect to sequence and index them. GY
I just tried Adaptec CD Creator. I didn't realize you can just drag and drop .wav files onto a layout and burn that sucker! My old version of CD Creator didn't do that. Cool! No more DAT!!!! (except for transfering those old DAT tapes). Thanks Craig! GY
