Tedster
Okay... You're going to revamp your live system from the ground up. Mid size (average size) clubs. Be as specific as you want... Cabs? Two way or three way full range...what? To Biamp (triamp?) or not to biamp... Crossover? Subs? Wedges? Main amps? Monitor amps? EQ? Comp? Effects? Board? Drum mics? I'll assume 58s for most vocal mics and 57s for cab mics, unless anyone really wants to object. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
Notape_dup1
I don't do live sound anymore - but back in my live days, here's what I used to run: Cabs: EAWs - KF850 Full range three-way Triamped using Crown USM-810 as crossover/processor Subs: Bag End 2x18" w/ELF-1 processor Wedges: EAWs Main and monitor amps: Crown macro-techs EQ: Klark technik (did I spell that right?) 31 band comp: Millenia TCL-2, Dbx 1066, Board's built-in dynamics Effects: Lexicon PCM80&90, Eventide H4000, Board's built-in effects Board: Yamaha 02R...I can just see it - you're asking yourself "02R for live sound?" yes, 02R for live sound and it does (did) a great job of it too! Preamps - Millenia HV-3Ds Drum mics: AKG D112 - kick, SM57 - snare and toms, AKG C1000 OHs Everything else: Audix OM-2s, Shure SM58s, Audio Technica cheapies That's all folks, -nt This message has been edited by notape on 07-05-2001 at 02:42 PM
