Anderton Posted June 14, 2001 Share Posted June 14, 2001 Actually, reaching 20K is causing all kinds of problems here on the site. Currently, these forums are sampled at 44.1 kHz, which allows a maximum bandwidth of 20K messages. In order to accommodate more messages, we are going to have to raise the sampling rate. At first we were just going to go to 48 kHz, but we calculated that would only increase our bandwidth to 24K messages, which we'll probably hit in a few weeks. So we are now revamping the forum sampling rate to 96 kHz. That should allow us to reach 48K messages. Thank you for your understanding. Now they're starting to "second guess"...revisitin' earlier rants... So...after 24K posts...we have a potential problem???
