Hippie
Is there any advantage of using one of the listed interfaces over another, if all are available to you? Does one sound better than another, if they all come out of the same device? Which one would YOU use to connect with & why? -Hippie In two days, it won't matter. Guest
Hmmm. To me, it's a toss up between AES and Toslink. I like AES for the XLR type connectors, and I like Toslink for having a signal impervious to RFI and EMI. I would probably end up using the one that is most common amongst everything else in the place. -Danny ------------------ Of all the things that I have lost, I miss my mind the most. GY
I mainly use SPDIF for the indexing subcodes. I don't believe any forms of AES/EBU do. At least in the early days of it. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong. GY
