Notape_dup1
I listened to the first six songs before my network (or NOTwork) decided to take a shit. What I was able to listen to.....well....it pretty much rocked. What else can I say? It's straight forward rock and roll. Even the people in my office liked it. One person thought I was playing Joe Satriani. Only complaint I have: I think it was 'work it out', the drums were a bit weak in the mix, other than that, as far as computer speakers are concerned, it sounded good. As soon as the network's back up, I'm gonna listen to the rest of the songs. If you all are wondering how this message got out without a network......dial-up my freinds, pure old-fashioned dial-up, 56k baby! Keep rockin' -notape
gonzo-x
notape- i really appreciate your taking a little time to check out some of the tunes. yeah, i totally agree with you on the "work it ou" drum mix...... something about that mix i just never could nail, that was using my old drum machine, i've got a much cheaper one now http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif and maybe i should try a re-do on it.... it's hard to justify redoing some of them, if i've got about 5 new ones i would rather spend the time on, but i hate it not being as good as it could be...... the first solo spot, after the first verse, was the first time that i tried laying my pick down, and fingerpicking that ascending lick..... it took me a few tries before i figured out how to do it.... i had been listening to some danny gatton, and though i'll never be able to figure out how he did what he did, i was inspired to try something different...... again, thanks for listening......
