trick fall
You know, I see so much on these threads about who sucks I'm wondering about who kicks ass. I myself am totally loving the Peaches song, Teaches for Peaches. As a matter of fact I'm totally pissed I had to miss her show last Friday that I heard was incredible. Tedster
Oh, I thought you were talking about the Presidents of the USA song...that "Millions of peaches, peaches for me" thing. That one I like. My son used to go around singing that one. Always gave me a kick. Movin' to the country, gonna eat me a lot o' peaches... http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"

trick fall
All right guys, Peaches is a Canadian chick living in Berlin who made a pretty kick ass record entirely with a Roland MC-505 Groove Box. But anyway anyone heard anything lately that ya know is sorta like the song of the moment for you and your crowd?

KenElevenShadows
Stuff that's caught my ear....wheewww....I'll narrow it down to just the past week, so this list isn't too long!!! Tipsy "Uh-Oh!" (Asphodel) Interesting cut-and-paste ambient lounge pop Shuggie Otis "Inspiration Information" (Luaka Bop reissue) West Coast funk/soal, really beautiful, interesting stuff from some stuff that's been all but forgotten from 27 some odd years ago. "Rebab and Female Voice of Central Javanese Gamelan" -- really entrancing rebab and beautifully muted Javanese gamelan. This is the best Javanese gamelan I've come across in years. Not exactly a new release, though. Field recording. "Music of the Ba-Benzele Pygmies" -- fascinating music from central Africa, which includes some interesting whistling sounds., celebratory songs from returning from a successful hunt, and other outstanding field recordings. The new Tortoise "Standards" (Thrill Jockey) isn't too bad, either. Gosh, and if this list goes back to last week, it will triple in size!!! ------------------ Ken/Eleven Shadows/d i t h er/nectar ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ music*travel photos*tibet*lots of stuff "Sangsara" "Irian Jaya" & d i t h er CDs available! http://www.elevenshadows.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ken Lee Photography - photos and books Eleven Shadows ambient music The Mercury Seven-cool spacey music Linktree to various sites Instagram Nightaxians Video Podcast Eleven Shadows website Ken Lee Photography Pinterest Page
