I've been thinking about upgrading my Mac to 400/450 or maybe 500 Mhz. I have in front of me some of the many options I found ...but I really don't know which one of them would be my best bet. Do you think it would be better-for instance- to get a G3/500 Mhz instead of a G4/400 Mhz? Do I really need a G4 upgrade? This zif cards, do they work well? Do you think I should invest more than $500 in one of this acelerator processors? I have another question. If I buy an SCSI-USB adapter to use my SCSI scanner Astra 1200S with my iMac,does it work?
