TIA JHC You are absolutely correct. The distances were 8" for the female vocal and 12" for the male vocal. I know many people work closer but for some of these mics, even 8" seemed too close due to proximity and susceptibility to plosives. You can hear the difference in distance between the male and female vocals. I'm surprised no one has even mentioned my choice of preamps. I fully suspected to get critiqued for that as well. (Shut my mouth!) And no one has yet mentioned the hidden tracks. Maybe no one has discovered them yet. Shhhh..... Sorry for the delay in responding. I was recording a project in Samoa (near New Zealand) and that been keeping me busy for the past month. We had to take everything we needed with us.
