John Worthington
It might be a little too geek for this crowd, but I got turned on to a program called Super Collider recently. It's a programming language similar to SmallTalk for real time synthesis. It's pretty cool. I've been creating great evolving patterns. It's not for the faint of heart, but man can you create some cool sounds. http://www.audiosynth.com jw Affiliations: Jambé
aeon
I have loved SuperCollider from time to time as well, but I usually find working in the cerebral frame-of-mind necessary to code means the music I create is more abstract than focused. It absolutely rocks (?!) for creating algorithmic sonic wallpaper. Go tell someone you love that you love them.
