It is a directory of all UK industry contacts, record/publishing cos, studios, music colleges, music teachers etc, etc and is also a meeting place for musicians and the industry. I don't get "across the pond" very often though, so I doubt it would be of much use to me. I still might drop in from time to time to see what our British cousins are up to.
