Dylan
Glad to hear that you enjoy the Lynx Studio card. It is a nice card, but the 24-bit converters are a bit dated when compared to others used in newer 24-bit cards. Still, other digital devices (Mackie D8 Bus, Gadget Labs Wave/824, Frontier Tango 24 A/D, etc) use the same converter with nice results. Cards by RME-Audio, Midiman, Echo, and MOTU use superior converters by comparison, but there is no reason that the Lynx shouldn't serve you well for a while. -Dylan Originally posted by semitone: Just want to share a (not so well kept, anyway) secret with all of you, comrades:The highest fidelity, smoothest highs, deep lows, clear mids, excellent stereo image, etc, PCI card you can buy is Lynx.Stereo analogue I/O,AES/EBU I/O,2 MIDI I/O,24-bit/48kHz.If you haven't tried it yet,go now.I guarantee you 'll be amazed. If you have tried it,what's your opinion about it?
