Back in the late 1980's Pat Downes' company PalmTree made a MIDI controller that consisted of two wands that triggered up, down, left, right, rotate left, and rotate right with velocity. They're hard to control, but pretty cool once you get the hang of it. jw Affiliations: Jambé
Anderton
I don't think they're going to stop with Air Synth. I think their next product in the line will be Air Plane. It will be a single-engine, twin-seater complete with avionics for $1,995. Wait until I get my hands on a development kit for the AirSynth...I expect to come up with some really cool sounds if I can get the hang of programming DSP! Sign me up, and make sure you let Roger Nichols know about it (doesn't he have an instrument rating?). Then again, I don't know if I'd want to trust *my* rear end at 12,000' AGL in a plane made by Alesis. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif They do come up with some amazing products though, and boy, do they know how to do the "bang for the buck" thing. Can't wait to hear your new sounds Craig!
