miroslav
Would like to wish all a happy holiday season! Also would like to use this post to make some music/audio new year resolutions. I'm sure some of you have your own to add. 1. Get my studio remodeling project finished by the Spring! 2. Change the strings on all my guitars more often! 3. Not lust after 192/24 soooooo much, (sorry Roger, I admit I am a recovering Gear Slut). "Live long and prosper". - Mr. Spock Peace! Tedster
"Live wrong and perspire"...Mr. Schlock... Happy Holidays to y'all, too... New Year's resolutions... Get back in the gym (I know I can do it. Used to all the time). In so doing, drop a few ounces. Get my projects in order and say "Damn the torpedoes"... Anderton
Thanks to everyone for making this board a success. My resolutions are to finish up my two latest CDs, get my loop library done, and complete the recording book being co-authored with Jay Graydon!! Tedster
Word of advice to all, myself included... My New Year's resolution (the non-musical one) was to get back in the gym and get back in shape. For those who already spend time in the gym, don't stop. For those who don't, borrow my resolution. Avoid elevators. Take the stairs. For short trips walk or ride a bike. My Mom is spending her Holidays in ICU after having a heart attack. Well, yeah, she's not young. But the longer I can delay that, the better. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
miroslav
Sorry to hear that Tedster, hope she gets well soon! You are right, exercise is important. The studio and the computer can make us very fat/lazy/unhealthy. Got to get out and breathe! miroslav - miroslavmusic.com "Just because it happened to you, it doesn't mean it's important." Pro Jules
Mine are: 1)Finish the decor on my studio & try not to be 'blind' to details a client will notice... 2) Try to slow down the gear addiction, the last big push: Distressor - comp UA 1176 - comp Rosendahl Nanosync - clock device Shure KSM32 - all round mic 3) Schedual days off so that I can occaisionaly bump into 'people' and perhaps even the opposite sex. 4) not lose my mind running a studio for the first time. 5) Learn midi (from my assistant!) 6) ditto with the health drive, mentioned above. Best of luck in the New Year everybody! http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif Jules This message has been edited by Julian standen on 12-26-2000 at 11:58 AM Jules Producer Julian Standen London, UK, Come hang here! http://www.gearslutz.com
