Kris
Just thinking out loud and thought this was kind of interesting... Why is it that a large portion of electronic music produced by digital means, ends up as an analog product, on vinyl... where as a large bulk of mainstream rock, etc is recorded and produced by analog means, to analog tape, but ends up as a digital product on CD??? I guess it's just the nature of how the product is used by the consumer... just thought it kind of interesting! NP... one of the worst jingles ever on radio... The "mellow" high end of analog gear works well with the "bright" high end of digital. Conversely, during the 80s when bright synths were really happening, people liked to record on analog tape because it helped mellow out the sound a bit.
