lisencocasema.net
Hi, Anyone heard of the Drag and Drop Drummer. If you check the site http://www.dddrummer.com/ and the user's demo's you will agree that it sounds killer. I'm using the LM4 but the editing takes ages... Guest
Being a new user to Cakewalk PA9.. When importing a tune converted to a WAV file into PA9, is there a way for the notation to be displayed in staff view?

No, the Staff view only works with MIDI data. -david abraham

It's not bad, unlike many loop libraries it has a healthy set of fills, the samples are also available in SoundFont format so you can intergrate your own fills and patterns. -david abraham

If you list your objectives maybe someone can point you to the right solutions.. -david abraham [This message has been edited by David Abraham Fenton (edited 11-08-2000).]
Guest
If you list your objectives maybe someone can point you to the right solutions.. -david abraham No I'm just a weekend warrior that is looking at ways to help learn theory. How music that I am playing should be written. Please don't get me wrong.. I'm not looking for an easy way, just kinda reassurance that I'm heading in the right direction. Also.. to be able loop stuff, and dialer in. [This message has been edited by MORIGEAU (edited 11-08-2000).]

To see "sheet music" you are better off working with MIDI files. So if you have Cakewalk open a MIDI file, then select the "Staff" view. For looping try the free version of ACID Xpress http://www.sonicfoundry.com/download/step2.asp?DID=155 Fruity loops (as mentioned in the previous post) is cool too. They are at www.fruityloops.com -david abraham [This message has been edited by David Abraham Fenton (edited 11-09-2000).]
Guest
Hey thanks David... I've looked through the libraries in both Home Studio & Pro Audio. I'll also look at the suggested apps. Again thanks for your help here.
David R.
Sorry, I just loved the heading of this topic. Sounds like lisenco is asking if we like dragging and dropping drummers. How far and from how high? http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gifhttp://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gifhttp://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/biggrin.gif -David R. -David R. David R.
All in jest, Morigeau. I have played in enough rhythm sections (even last night) to know why drummers are usually the butt of jokes, and only joke with the ones who are good enough to appreciate it. http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/wink.gif So now I am off to check out this drag 'n drop drummer site. -David R. -David R.
