pciaprodigy.net
Here goes...I want to set up a pair of monitors and a 2x12 amp on the second level of my three level townhome. (Neighbors on each side - one neighbor is more sensitive than the other). Sliding glass patio doors on front wall, open stairway (both up and down) and short hall on opposite wall. Masonry walls between the units....I think. Is there any way for me to set up to miminize the sound levels to my more sensitive neighbor or will each neighbor hear the same thing no matter what the set up? Am I making sense? Hope my question isn't too ridiculous. Thanks.
Guest
The more sound you suck up in your house the less will get out. It all depends on the acoustics of your house to start with. Cheers John http://www.musicplayer.com/ubb/smile.gif
alphajerk
i met a guy in NYC who played drums in his apartment successfully without disturbing the neighbors by putting up many layers of drywall and sealing the room as tight as he could. then again the noise floor in NYC is pretty high. alphajerk FATcompilation "if god is truly just, i tremble for the fate of my country" -thomas jefferson
