They just get all aled up, and when visitors come, they say "O, ye've got to try the haggis" and wink at each other all knowing like, and then the visitors try it and spew it all over, and the Scots are laughing their asses off. And yes Shars...the trip does in fact look like it will be happening. I'd like to arrange a dinner in London for those nearby, sometime after Feb 25th, (when we'll be leaving Exeter and coming to London). Tedster
Hiya Shars...we'll be arriving in London Feb 21st, but going to Exeter 'til the 25th. Then coming back to London 'til March 4th. Not sure where we'll be staying in London yet. I'm open to suggestions as to anything cool in London. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
Shars
All noted Ted and the best thing to do is to get over to LastMinute.com and book book a hotel room from there in London as they have some great deals if you book nearer the time. I can make some suggestions re dinner though...Covent Gardens is great but its a real shame as your leaving the 4th as 2 friends are coming over from the Netherlands who you'd love and we are to see a friends band at the Rock Gardens on the 4th and then FORCE MAJEURE at Ronnie Scotts on the 5th with Gary Husband, Randy Brecker and Christine Tobin which will be spectacular!! I have a table booked already so can extend this if need be. Is there any suggestion as to what you would like to do or you and Debs can come over to ours if you want(and anyone else that is going to be around) and have dinner here with us... www.myspace.com/yacababy
Tedster
AGGGGHHH!!! How come all that cool stuff happens when we leave! I'd be glad to stay, but the flights are booked already...Deb wanted to get back for the weekend to give some "re-entry" time before the regular week started. Awww...that'd be nice...don't want to put you all out. Whatever...we're open to suggestions. Main things I want to do (food wise) while in London are to indulge in some good hot curry (I'm sure there must be some good Indian restaurants there), and then the usual sightseeing. Aside to that, get to know the culture a bit. But, as I said, I'm open to any suggestions... "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"
Shars
Its a date then :)your coming over to us and i can cook one of my lovely dinners for you thats unless you fancy a authentic curry which we have plenty of places here that sell them as i dont know how to cook a proper curry. I will look around for a hotel for you guys as my house isnt finished yet otherwise you guys could have stayed with us. If anyone else thats meeting up with Ted and the Debster want to come over to mine for a few bevvies and dinner and a laugh, let me know and will get things sorted. The more the merrier i reckon. www.myspace.com/yacababy
